Julie Ruckman   Creative Hair Design

Julie has over 5 years of experience working in the industry.  She stays active as a professional stylist for fashion photography, runway, film, and weddings. She has had the opportunity to be a lead stylist and team organizer for several large production fashion shows in the Northwest, and featured bridal stylist for Portland in the Oregonian. She is trained to work with human hair extensions and hair pieces, in their many applications.  In addition, as an Oregon licensed hair stylist, she has independantly ran her own small business, and now, currently works closely with clients and stylists as manager of Bishops Barbershop. Trained in Goldwell color concepts and KMS cutting techniques, she stays up to date on the newest trends, education, and technical skills in cutting and color.  She participates annually in Goldwell's internationally juried Trend Zoom challenge, which includes technique, design, formulation and direction of photography.  Julie has been involved with the Bishops marketing design team, and also enjoys doing her own artistic directing and wardrobe styling.
